I accidentally crushed my baby

My Little Bit was handicapped and couldn't fly. She loved to sit in the grass and chew on it. It made her so happy. I made the mistake of having Toonces, my other GCC on my shoulder. I knew better. I knew better. I just wanted to spend time with them outside this morning. She got spooked and took off. I reacted by running to catch her... right into the grass. I watched my poor, sweet baby die in my arms. It was all my fault. I killed her. I did get Toonces, she is safe. So many things I did wrong. My heart is broken.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It was an accident. You will be dealing with all sorts of feelings right now. I know how you feel. Try to remember that you gave him the best life and that he did have a happy life with you.
