I have had mango for over a year now.... and today she made her very first hula skirt, I have heard of lovebirds doing this (tucking paper under their wings, but today was the first day I observed her doing it. It was soo cute :)

Just wanted to share lol

Ha ha ha my female love JB does this a LOT!!
You should see what she does to the bottom of her cage in a matter of 2-3 days!!
I've got to change the cage tomorrow so I'll take pics of the before and the after a few days later...lol You won't believe it...

Their hula skirts are so cute:D

Leyla tries SO HARD to make hula skirts, but with her lack of rump feathers, it just never works:( Lately, Nin, Leyla's boyfriend, has been making hula skirts though! I've heard of males doing it on occasion - just haven't seen it till now.

Mango is a real beauty (love her colors!), thanks for sharing the news.

I've heard of males doing it on occasion - just haven't seen it till now.
I was just going to mention this also, I saw my very first male version of the hula skirt a few weeks ago. I did not know that males did it too until then.

I would love to see picture of your hula girls (or guys)!
