How to set your AA site preferences / alert preferences:


Click your username in the top right corner. Select ¨preferences¨


Here you will be able to choose your preferences for;
(Mark the preferences you desire with a tick, click a tick to remove it)

Time zone
Set you local time zone, so that the time stamps match your clock. Choose your time zone from the drop down menu

Email options

• Receive news and update emails
• Receive email when a new conversation message is received
• Receive email when mentioned

Content options

• Automatically watch content you create…
• and receive email notifications
• Automatically watch content you interact with…
• and receive email notifications
• Show people's signatures with their messages

Conversation list view style
This will allow you to change the way conversation list will appear. You can opt to view;

• Usernames

Or

• Avatars (pictures)

Privacy options

• Show your online status - This will allow other people to see when you are online.
• Show your current activity - This will allow other people to see what page you are currently viewing.

Receive a notification when someone
Here you can modify your alert preferences by ticking the boxes of the things you wish to receive alerts for


Once you are happy with your chosen settings, click the big blue ¨save¨button
