I have multiple shelves full of trinkets I collect such as various seashells, rocks, small figurines and whatnot. Sunny has never before gotten curious about them despite frequently being near one (when I'm sitting at my desk and he's out and about, it's a little shelf built into the desk) but just now he finally became intrigued enough to check it out, much to my dismay >> He just climbed to a spot where he could poke my things with his beak and I immedietly stopped him, but... theoretically.... is he strong enough to knock some small rocks and seashells off... or possibly some bigger ones... i have a few seashells and rocks that are his size or larger... Of course I'm never gonna let him mess around in there without supervision but I'm quite curious about his capability of destruction if he catches me offguard and decides to knock things over and whether I should maybe bird proof my trinket shelves lol

Oh definitely. They can very easily knock something over. And the more expensive a thing it is, or the more you would not like it to be knocked over, the more likely it is the thing will be knocked over.

Yes, don't underestimate littles! They are stronger than you would think. I have had a Quaker fly off with an entire large slice of Little Caesar's Pizza before!

Many seashells they can also crack with their beaks if they have a mind to!

I've already seen him try to eat my wires and poop directly on my drawing tablet so I will definitely have to keep him away from anything that can be knocked over in this case lol

The seashells on the shelf he got close to are ones that survived being carried around by my German shepherd so I'm sure he can't break those but I will definitely be keeping the smaller ones away >>
I don't wanna imagine what the cleanup after that pizza incident was like haha, they really are like tiny flying cats

They are certainly strong enough to knock over and throw many ornaments and other things in our homes. My tiel used to push the remote control off the table, coffee cups off the table, scissors, we also had stones/rocks and crystal clusters she used to push off the shelves. If you do not want things tossed, chewed, perched or pooped on then best to keep them in an area the brid cant get to.
