How old is my lovebird?

Hey guys! Hope you guys can help me, we got a lovebird from a breeder, but he keep saying he is few months. His beak is black, but yiu can tell is faithing away, but it looks like his feathers are done growing he has few here and there. You can tell he was never touch we are trying to tamed him. Super sweet he said he was a peach face. Can someone advise me please.

If the breeder is professional, they will have the hatch date noted somewhere so instead of asking how old, ask when the hatch date is.

Looking at this bird, they are anywhere between 6 and 10 or 12 weeks. The black on the beak will slowly fade as they get older and between 5-9 months old they will moult and the line on the brow will become promenent.

Going off the middle picture what seems to be the most recent, I'd say around 10 weeks old. So the breeder saying "a few months" is correct, but like I said before, asking for the "hatch date" will give you an exact age.

Yes, this bird is a Peach faced lovebird (Agapornis Roseicollis).

When they hatch, some have darker beaks than others, so it is difficult to get an exact time for. There can be weeks difference even for birds of the same mutation.

I spoked to the breeder and he told he he was 4 months but my Kenny looks like yours alot!!!!!!
