how low should I keep perches for a baby and how long should i keep them low for? going to start setting up cora's cage soon and I was thinking maybe two feet from the bottom for the highest one. I'm also probably going to pad the bottom with extra newspaper for a while in case she falls.

How 'baby' are we talking? Generally once they are fully weaned and fledged and ready to go home, they can perch perfectly well, and you don't have to worry about the height in terms of safety. However, youngsters are sometimes hesitant to climb much, especially the first few days - thus having one just a couple of inches off the floor is a good idea until you see how confident they are.

She’ll be weaned and fleshed and such, I just wanted to check.
