Hit the Road
They are just so prehistoric looking, especially when you are walking the beach & you look down and see this huge shadow flying your way so you look up & yourYes, everything about them makes for continuous entertainment. Pelicans are very fascinating birds. I couldn't stop staring at them even when they were just perched and not doing much of anything. I really love one time I saw a pelican that looked like it was just hovering without flapping its wings. Very freaky sight.

Amazing photos! It is a wonderment how those branches just don't snap with such big birds on them!
