Here's a new toy I made. I call it a Blast of Sunshine. :hehe:

It's just coffee filters. I dipped the edges in a cup of hot water mixed with plain unsweetened KoolAid. Four different colors of KoolAid, a little stack of filters in each color. Kinda roll the stack up so that just the edges of the filters go into the cup. Dip the edges in and out real fast since it will wick up the filters quickly. Then lay the stacks on foil or something to dry, so you don't stain your counters or anything. Once they were dry, they were kind of stiff and flat, so i wadded them up and then flattened them back out to give them lots of texture. Then just string them up alternating colors adding a pony bead in between every 8 or 10 filters. I topped it off with 3 finger traps stuffed with shredded paper and a star pony bead on top. That's it.
