Yes they are all rescue birds. Alex bonded very closely with my husband and due to his age he cannot leave, He likes my husband A LOT! Rico the IRN I actually adopted from Jen, The Bird Ners Rescue, and Tiki...well she lived in a closet the past 8 years. She is 16 and we are working with her daily.
Hahns and Blue crown are both ex breeders and the blue crown is going to her retirement home tomarrow at another rescue/sanctuary that has asked if they could keep her the rest of her life.
The Hahns, is about at the ed of her life span, we will see. She is unbanded, and we have no idea on actual age.
Everyday when I go into the bird room I think I may find her deceased, but as it is shes still kicking and hanging from 1 foot.
