Just got a new Goffin Cockatoo for an early Christmas present from my husband. Her and I are great pals already but she tries to attack my husband and kids. Any advice?

I have an Umbrella Cockatoo and I run a bird rescue as well. What kind of details can you give us so we can help you?
When does she become aggressive?
How old is she?
Is it all the time?
It is possible but it is hard to tell without more information as to why she is becoming aggressive. I just delt with this with an Umbrella. The owner was petting her in a stimulating way, the bird was regurgitating on her and was totally bonded to the woman. However, the 5 year old was not the Too's mate, so she would attach the owner's daughter as to protect her mate.
