Hi everyone, my name is Donna, i have 2 lovebirds

I have had these birds, 1 is a peach, green and blue colour, and the other bird is light and dark blue.
I have had these for over 6 years, but the peach bird makes a very unusual squeeking sound.
I'm unsure if this is normal .....

Hello Donna, Welcome to Avian Avenue.

Sometimes they will start making a new sound if it is something they are trying to mimic.

Other times it could be a sneeze, aspiration, or even infection.

Given you have had the birds for so long, if you think they are not mimicing something new, I would head to the vet for a checkup just to be safe.

I agree with Zara that it can be a number of things! The fact that you're bringing it up to me means you're concerned. Have they been to a vet lately? Might be worth your peace of mind to get them checked out just to be safe
