Herbs and spices

Sometimes I make Kiwi whole wheat pasta or brown rice with veggies, but they look awfully bland. What are some herbs and spices everyone uses to add flair to birdie recipes?

Oregano, cayenne pepper, and crushed red pepper, usually.
