HELP PLEASE!

Hi all PLEASE HELP MY BUDGIE IS MISSING INSIDE FOR 3 DAYS NOW!

My budgie playdough is light blue and a white face in Boston area- she was nesting as the birds have been mating for a while now.

There is a total Of 5 budgies: 1 other female and 3 other males. So now she's gone for three days now and completely vanished in the house!!! No doors or windows were open so I have no freaking clue where she is inside. We turned the house upside down.

I'm completely miserable about this and honestly feel like I don't want to live. This is gut wrenching. I am trying to stay hopeful but PLEASE if you have any advice or had this happen please help...

This must be very distressing
Check dark spaces, on top of cupboards,in cubboards, under fridges, desks, chairs, couches, beds etc etc. Leave out a bowl of her favorite foods, and water.

I've lost Spearmint around the house for a day and a half, he was behind my fridge. I really hope you find her soon xx

Definitely check those dark nooks and little spaces. A nesty hen will haul up inside and be very quiet. Use a light to help you look inside smaller spaces.
Maybe try caging all the birds but leave her mate out, see if they communicate and he goes to her.

Don't just look under living room furniture (chairs, sofa, etc.). Flip it over & look up inside. They are small so they can squeeze inside very small spaces. I once had little puppies crawl up inside furniture. Under/up inside washing machine & drier too.

I know you said no windows were open, but does that mean totally closed or does that mean window open with a screen? I ask because I once thought I use a green cheek inside but later realized she got out through a small tear in a screen


I've heard of someone losing a budgie inside a wall; I can't remember how they got inside, but nesty hens can be very determined!

She has to eat so hopefully by locking the other birds up and leaving her mate out you should be able to find her by watching and waiting. I really hope she is hiding/nesting and not stuck behind something. Please keep us updated.

Try leaving lots of millet spray out and if she likes bathing a bowl of water. Sorry I can't help more!
