Urgent Help, how do I tell if my birds foot is injured??

View attachment 444582 My bird somehow got his ankle bracelet off (the blue on the bird kebab) and I don’t know how he could’ve gotten it off without hurting his foot, should I be worried? He’s acting fine, he just slid down his cage bars but I’ve heard that getting them off can break their feet

Glad he is ok. I can't see the photo but it is not normal for the band to come off unless it was the wrong size or it was an open band.
