Hi! My name is Bajovane (Star Trek name)! I am the mommy to my Pretty Baby (PB for short.) PB is a 25 year old cockatiel. He came to us in 1998 and I am honestly surprised (big time!) that he’s still chirping away!
We did have three other cockatiels but sadly, they passed away. Molly passed at 20 years old and she and PB were bonded. Bailey Birdie was only 13, Rachelle passed at just 7. Somehow PB never has been ill (to my knowledge of course) but he has slowed down and has arthritis. He can’t fly anymore so I adjusted things in his cage that make it easier to get around and give him plenty of places to take naps and just chill. Every day he is with me is a gift to be cherished forever. He is my Little Old Man.
