Hi,

My name is Bec and I am the proud new slave to Tickles.

Tickles is a ~4mth old Red Collared Lorikeet. We havent had her sexed yet but she is a she in our minds and hearts

I hope to learn much from fellow fid fanatics as I am quite new to the slave trade

As much attention and care that is required by my new Lori, I love her to bits and cant believe Ive never had a hand raised bird previously! I never knew how much fun they could be!

Tickles has a female border collie friend and a male cat as siblings and she loves to terrify them out of the room by threatening to land on them

Anyway, thats my bit. Nice to meet you all in advance

Hi Bec & welcome to the Avenue! Tickles is a beautiful bird! I had a Rainbow Lorikeet & they are wonderful birds......loving & smart! I thought Skittles was a boy & in my heart he was.....until one day when SHE was almost 3 years old, she laid two eggs. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more pictures of Tickles ~

Thankyou all for the warm welcome!

She is quickly establishing herself in the household she has us up early in the morning every morning....no more sleep ins!

She has claimed OH's mouse (computer) for her own and also insists on either sitting on my laptops keyboard and holding one of my fingers, and if i type to fast she attacks!!!! all in good fun

btw: Tickles is NEVER unsupervised unless she is in her cage

taken today - she was just about to try and fly to me here, in order to tongue the camera to death
