Hello all I'm AddsHatter/Adds for short. I'm 35. A short slightly crazy woman (according to my husband) I've had a variety of birds over the years, some owned but mostly rescues. I haven't actually owned a avian friend in 15yrs.
This year in particular has been interesting to say the least. Starting my May off with rescuing a red breasted Robin who fell from its nest at 10 days old, my dog found it before the ants did too much damage. The little one's release was in mid July.
But what actually brought me to the page was my slight impulse buy on the 23rd of August.
Went in looking for a job application then ended up buying a beautiful little fawn colored female cockatiel. I will make a separate posting explaining why I bought her.
But I figured I'd like to be able to share her with others that would understand and appreciate how she does over the next coming weeks, months.
Look forward to getting to know everyone.
