Harlequin macaw in Baltimore needs rehoming

My friend needs to rehome her harlequin macaw. I need to know of GOOD, CARING rescue(s) near Baltimore.

OR...if anyone near Baltimore is looking for a sweet female harlequin. I believe she is around a year & a half old. She said that there would be an "adoption fee".

My friend was going to ship her down to me, but I decided not to take her because I definitely do not have the room or funds to properly care for another large parrot (new cage, toys, etc) while properly caring for & spoiling my own flockers.

I wish I was even close to being near to Baltimore. I miss my scarlet macaw and would love to have another macaw one day..

I am in Baltimore and can house her if she needs to be placed immediately. At least till she is shipped to CINDY!

I don't see a need to place her in a rescue if a good home can be found. Like I said If she needs to find a place for her to stay, she is more then welcome here.

I'm not in Baltimore Heather, I'm in Kansas, but, sent Missi a PM just in case something could be worked out. I have been looking for a rehome, but I'm so afraid of being ripped off on Craigs List or Hoobly and there just are not any in need close to me. I have found a breeder a few hours from me but would much rather prefer to take one who is needing a home and I trust any information Missi would give. With all the YouTube videos, flicker pictures, Facebook etc they can get a good idea of how my flock lives lol.
