I actually love all the colouring. When I got Zazu, I was looking for lovebird that was definitely a boy. He just happened to be the wild type lovebird colouring.
He is very lovely though, various shades of green, beautiful bright pink crown and light pink face, and then a pretty blue tail!He is great, he's calmed down a lot as he aged. I just created a new thread describing how much calmer he is now. I've survived the dreaded hormonal phase! Which wasn't at all as bad as I was expecting... I guess when you expect the worst then it doesn't seem so bad.
