Hello all!! Thank you for for having me.
I’m a parront (get it, parrot-parent) to 3 feathered babies.
Osa- my rescued five year old green cheek conure, who has was born with a bad foot (one of his toes crosses over his other toe) and his jaw is damaged from a fight with my Caique. Don’t worry, Osa is an otherwise healthy bird, and is regularly taken to vet vists. He lives a pretty much normal life and isn’t held back at all by these injuries.
Wasabi- my almost five year old caique, whose name definitely fits him. He has no injuries, but recently has had some behavioral issues related to hormones.
Sky- my almost 8 year old budgie who is super sweet. I’ve had her since I was very young- about 10 years old?
I’m joining this forum because as of recent, Osa has had some health issues and I’ve needed some support from fellow bird nerds. I’ve adored parrots since I was very young. I’m currently studying avain medicine, and am planning on possibly becoming a veterinarian.
