Thanks, that first article was really useful. Having been email "bashed" by Chet and co I wasn't as keen on his article, but interesting to see how he reinterprets things and then uses it to sell products.

I break many of these rules ( food outside the cage etc etc) and still have no problems putting birds back in. I think the most important rules have to do with exercise, love and predictability.

a) If your parrot loves you, it will do almost anything you ask
b) If your parrot ( even a hyperactive caique) gets loads of exercise outside its cage, it will be happier going back
b) Maintain a predictable routine, my guys loooove this.
