I know this can't be good, but when Simba is on the playground he likes to go in his bunker and he loves shredding the grass mats. The area is enclosed mostly, just open on both ends. Well he shreds and shreds and shreds, and today when he came out of the bunker, he let out a little squeak and it looked like smoke coming out of his mouth :omg:. I guess with all the dust from the mats, so now I will need to give him something else to shred down there instead of the mats, any suggestions??

He loves doing this and will stay in their hours at a time, coming up for a little snack and water and then goes back down. He's not going to like it when I clean it up and don't put new ones down there.

Wow, that's a LOT of shredding. What a busy boy he has been. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions for you on something to replace the matts.

Mine like shredding newspapers and phone books. Maybe even some twigs from a bird safe tree if you have one around?

Zach I was thinking about newspapers, might try that.
Phone book is a good idea too. I will clean it all out tonight and try the newspaper and see what happens. Boy, he's going to be one mad birdie in the morning.
