Our 3 month old baby cockatiel Zora died today - she was so snuggly and loving from the moment we met her. It was a terrible tragic accident. We usually keep the curtains in front of the windows but today we left one uncurtained. I left the house while she was with my partner and when Zora called to me I did not return her call. She went flying to look for me as she has done many times, usually ending up on one of her favorite perches or at the top of my partners head. My partner was traumitized to see her fly into the window not once but twice and die in her hands. We are truly devastated as we had become so close to her so quickly.
