Prince is a cat we took in that was a stray, we only had him a few or so months, but it seems like so much longer.. and now he is gone.. just like that. 
We knew he was old, we believe he was between 18-20 years old, but we hoped it would be longer before anything like this happened. Old age got the best of him, and took its toll, and now it has taken him away.He was full on feral when we took him in, and after weeks of spending time with him, getting him used to us, he became the best cat, so friendly and he would go to anyone for a scratch. Nothing phased him, not the birds, turkeys, nothing, he never tried to attack any other animal even if it was right next to him. (even our turkeys who loved harassing him) He became a huge part of the family, everyone loves him dearly, and he was a fantastic cat.
R.I.P Prince, we miss you so much already, I am so sorry.
I want to cry, and cry, and cry, but yet try stay strong, because he is in a better place, I have made myself sick fromc rying so much already and I start crying again every time I think about it.
