Gigi does see color and I have proof :)

I removed the vet wrap and took apart Gigi's play gym for deep cleaning. I ordered green vet wrap but what arrived was "neon green" instead of the "grass green" that she has always had on her gym. I carefully wrapped the gym and it looked like new. However Gigi was a solid no on this. She flew around the gym like a hummingbird, never landing on the neon catastrophe. I reordered grass green vet wrap and life should be back to normal tomorrow. TBD 3PM-6PM from Prime.

Interesting that she was picky about the color! I know they can see different colors than we can even, so wonder if the neon just makes it look totally off?

Birds can see uv light, which means they can see even more color than us!

The grass green vet wrap arrived early and I got to work. When Gigi came out she eyed it for a few minutes from my shoulder and then flew on. Sorry to not get a pic of her on the gym! Seriously if I told a non pet owner that I changed the vet wrap from one color of green to another color of green because my mini parrot didn't like it...just imagine the eye rolling. But hey, all's well in Gigi Land and that's my goal.
