Barefoot Parrot
Sprinting down the street
Hi, some of you know me from the Birdchannel forums.
So I've been taking my Quaker outside on a harness. I did it twice yesterday, for about five minutes each, and once the day before, for about ten to twenty minutes. The first time he had Nutri-Berries, the second and third time he had millet spray. The first time he was freaked out about being outside so he didn't really eat, and just gnawed on it. The second time he was much less freaked out about being outside, but continued to gnaw one the harness. The third time he gnawed a lot more than the other times. I need to get him used to having the material on him, and not be bothered by it. He doesn't like having it draped over him. Getting it on is pretty easy, I just have to hold him and quickly get in on, and off is a bit more difficult, he just doesn't like having it on. But how can I get him to stop the chewing? Thanks.
