Hi
Does anyone have any recommendations good ideas for foot toys in cage like where to put them so they don’t end up on floor so much
I do have half a coconut with foot toys in but they end up on floor a lot

Sometimes, depending on what they are, you can attach to skewers.

You could also get a ziptie and attach to cage wall.

Including in a large foraging tray.

Post some pics of toys if you want and we can give more specific ideas ;)

I dont want to tie them I have tied some on but remi like to play with foot toys freely if you know what I mean when bits drop of his balsa toys he goes to bottom to get them then fetched it back upto perch

I thought foraging tray at bottom of cage but I don’t really want anything at bottom

I might put some on his flat perch

I use my Nutz toy boxes but once they are bored of them they end up on the floor, I don't think you can avoid it.

I have a bowl on cage that I put them in. Sure, Secret drops them but I pick up and put back in the bowl.

Just don't pick up right away. That leads to a "human wants to play" game!

Wide, shallow bowls work great for that, as do platform perches.

The lixit "bath" is one I like for smaller birds!

Burt is the only one here who uses them at the moment (I am trying to encourage Birdie to use his feet more but not much luck yet), I give him two or three in his cage each morning and they always end up on the floor in poop so they just get washed daily.
I cant see a way to avoid it unless they are only given outside of the cage or altered to make them hanging/fixed toys which defeats the purpose of them being a foot toy.
