Fly free, Spark

I lost my beautiful Diamond dove boy Spark just a few hours ago..
He has possibly scaly mite and feces buildup on his little feet so we caught him and fixed it.. but I pushed him too far.. he died in my hands from what I can only guess was that it was too stressful for him.. My ex nurse family member who was helping me with him tried to do CPR but neither of us knew anything about CPR in birds.. we tried for a long time but it did not work.
If I had stopped 5 seconds earlier he might still have been here to snuggle up with his flock tonight..it was my fault. I killed him. I knew this happened and was not careful enough.
