I just wanted them for treats and clearly wasn’t thinking about the quantity correctly! I’m going to vacuum seal most of them in smaller portions. Smh!!

That’s okay I bought 12 jars of onion garlic free spaghetti sauce for my Quaker Jackson. He couldn’t tolerate it anyway so gave it away.

To my credit, my budgies don't eat sunflower seeds...so having Opie is my first venture into treats of any kind other than millet! Lol!

Oh well, live and learn :)

What's the trick to freezing/thawing? I froze a bunch of nuts last year, but when I thawed them, most were rancid. :( So now I've stocked up again, but I'm hesitant to freeze any & I'm planning to just have a race with them instead. :shocked5:

I think vacuum sealing them should be ok. I don’t have room in my freezer for all this!
