What a great thread! Very interesting! Unfortunately I don't drink soda or any canned drinks really but I love all of the photos :)

Wow, didn't know it would be so hard to get Crow near a can! I put it down next to him and he freaked out and ran away. Took about 5 minutes to get them this close together.

Calling him male, every other animal in the house is.

I'm not crazy enough to get Dragon and a can close together, last time he was within chomping distance of an aluminum can, he tried to eat it.

I love looking at this thread! I could never get either of my birds near a can. Panic attacks would ensue.

I posted a picture of Skittles in the other thread, but I'll post it here just so that it's in the right place :D

Fid name: Skittles
Species: Green Cheek Conure
Age: He'll turn 5 on the 19th of June
Sex: Don't know, but I refer to him as male
Weight, if you know it: Don't know it
Import or hand fed: Hand fed from a breeder
Personality/vocabulary or what makes your fid special, if you want to add it: Of course Skittles is special  He's smart, curious, sometimes a bit jumpy, affectionate, likes to stare at his feet, goes nuts if he sees you making scrambled eggs, loves to put things in his beak especially fingers, and he can say a few phrases: "Hi," "Hi Skittles," "Birdy," "What?" and "OUCH!" the last one usually used as a threat if he's feeling cranky.

For those of you who are having difficulties getting your bird to stand near a can, try putting the can in the center of a large table, putting the bird down on the edge of the table far away from the can, and sprinkling some of his or her favorite treat around the can and wait for them to go investigate on their own.

BTW, I never realized before how incredibly small GCCs are compared to other parrots, lol! Most of these parrots are way bigger than I expected!
