Earlier today I realized that my lovebird Molly was refusing to care for last night's new hatch. I pulled the baby and after a long talk wih Billie Faye I am hoping I can save the tiny bird.
It's after midnight now and the baby has taken a drop or two of pedialyte and water mixture every half hour or so since about 6 pm. He was very active earlier, but now is not moving much at all. I will start adding a pinch of formula to the liquid if he makes it through the night. I am not feeling too hopeful at the moment, but I'm thinking he's so still because because it's so late at night. I am striving to save his fragile little being.
