Feather question

So Tajah, my BFA, has one feather that comes in weird on her wing. It sticks out and she usually ends up breaking it, because I'm sure it drives her nuts. No bleeding ever. The shaft is just sticking out from the skin. Do I pull it? Will the shaft work it's way out on its own or does that have something to do with why the feather always comes in weird...? I've only had her 1 1/2 years and she's at least 16. I don't know if there was previous damage to that follicle. Thanks for any suggestions/help!

I have a few birds with continued odd growing feathers. My GW has one the grows like hair, it's really weird.

I'd leave it and next time you see the vet have them look. My guys are not bothered by them and when I am I just trim them

The shaft will fall out just like any other feather.
