Can't wait to hear Peaches on the road to recovery!
Way to go AA!
Way to go AA!
After hearing both sides, I'm going to retract a lot of what I said with apologies. Something I rarely do.
Obviously I missed something. These posts have a flavour of "I know something you don't know" that has the potential of souring the good will of those whose prime objective is health of a injured baby bird, which I'm sure wasn't your intent. Essentially what I'm saying is "if you have something to say, say it" or provide a link to the relevant information.I'm with Kristen, the other side to this story makes things look very different.
I did understand your intent. Do you have a redirect to the "other side" of the story? This isn't a 'nyah nyah nyah' statement, but aimed as an apology to the breeder who has been following and reading this thread and what's been said.
I personally cannot blame her for not coming here. We as a group can look like torch wielding villagers in situations like this. It's not my story to tell, and no one had the information until after the fact.Okay this is BS again. If the breeder was reading the entire story then why didn't s/he say something BEFORE people sent money to help Peaches. And even if she wasn't at fault, she certainly could have stepped up to explain and offer to help her client with the bird. Is this entire thing a scam? A set up? It really makes me mad when somebody comes in after the fact with knowledge and help that should have been shared with the beginning. This kind of crap is why AA can't really hold a fund raiser to help anybody because crappy people will take advantage of it.
