Oh, he was so cute when he chomped on your ear! 
Mine is always trying to steal one of my earrings, I think he figures I have enough that I wont notice one missing. He has actually managed twice to remove them from my ears without me noticing till I see it in his little beak getting rolled around. So quick and spot on with those beaks they are.
