There's been a slight improvement since yesterday, but not good enough to bring out the pompoms yet. At least today, I know her hearing isn't completely wonky.. ... I was a tad worried yesterday.

aww she did pretty well, better than I did when i first started counting in Spanish

Maybe it would be easier starting with one word until she gets it down pat then move on to the next one

thats how I taught my cockatiel to talk, and that's how Billy our Quaker learned new words

or see if You Tube has any Spanish Counting birdies for her to listen to
