Echo's been talkative a bit more than usual. I'm not sure why though things a bit more stressful lately but over all he's been doing really well. Here's some of the funny things he's said of the last couple days.
Yesterday he went to the vet for a nasal flush and nail trim. Poor guy was upset when I put his harness on him. He was shaking. This would be he's first outing since being boarded just before Christmas. He calmed down in the car and was was good for the trip. Echo is one my vet's favorite I think. They have told he is they're best behave avian client. And vet was really happy with him and said he look well, least stuff came out of his nasal flush and he was overall well behaved. I alway give heap praise on the way back home. I said some to the effect of "The vet's was really happy with you"
To which him replied, "I know, I'm a good bird."
On the way home we stopped at large Greenhouse that we have to pass by on the way to the vet's. They had a decent sale on and Echo always loves interact with people. A few people chatted with us and he was on a lady. When we got to the checkout one of the clerks really wanted to see him. He happily went to see her and was quite chatty. It really made her day. When he came back to me he say something like, "There you go." The clerk said "He must of known I needed that. A good pick me up for the rest of the day."
And tonight he was on my mom, who's not really a bird person, and he was trying preen her face. He does that with me alot but my mom wasn't having it. I told him you can't do that. I swear he goes, "But why?"
So those are my little stories of recent talkative Echo
