Dummy egg recommendations

I’m sorry to create another post about this topic as I did read the pinned post. However, I’m having this issue where the eggs I have bought so far on Amazon all have this line/seam looking thing that feels rather sharp running down them.

What brand do you guys feel is the highest quality? I have to imagine they would scratch her little tummy as she plucks some of her feathers there. I’ve ordered 3 times now total over the years and many of them have it. Plus they’re just so cheap and not convincing. Looking at the pinned post I’m just wondering what you all would recommend.

I’m pretty sure she’s going to lay again (she just laid a couple months ago). If she does, I’m gonna ask the vet for some calcium drops like she’s given me in the past.

thank you,

I haven't had to buy any myself, but this is the site I've always seen recommended:

Could you use some fine grit sandpaper to smooth out the ones you already have?

I’ve seen cheap nasty knock off eggs and I have seen quite convincing fake eggs- somewhere here I have some of each and the look and feel is very different.

I would search a proper bird supply store, maybe one focussing on breeding supplies.

Yup. Ordered some off Amazon for my pigeons, just in case.
I actually don't know what a real egg from my pair looks like, but what I got.... the birds are going to be like, "Are you kidding me?" These are shiny, with a definite seam, and rather pointy. My order specified pigeon eggs, but these appear rather large for something my little roller hen could lay.

I have some from dummyeggs.com. They have a nice feel, but I have no idea whether they worked - when my tiel was laying a couple of years ago, I changed a ton of things at once because I was more concerned with getting her to stop than with advancing my knowledge. She stopped, but I don't know if she was fooled by the eggs, or if something else did the trick. She hasn't done it again, so in hindsight, the eggs might not have done anything. :D
