We’ve had a tiny breakthrough. Cricket has been back to the vet twice more. They ran a thyroid test, and her thyroid levels were low! She is on medication for that now. They said it will be afew weeks before it really kicks in....but...

The last 2 days she has played! Tonight she grabbed a toy, brought it to hubby, and he threw it a few times. This is the first time she has played in a year or more.

I looked in her ears, which they’ve irrigated now 3 times, and they look normal. The tissue had been swollen for ages but now they just look like ears, and there’s no swelling or discharge or odor.

All this is costing about $400+ each visit. We do have insurance on her, thank goodness. So I think all the thyroid stuff will be covered. Cause our savings.... you know. Stock market and all that. :(
