@AkasyaEllric and I were wondering - do your poicephalus fly much? Our poi boys (Ripley, Jardine's, and Slade, Brown Head) basically never do, even though they are not clipped. Ripley will fly if spooked but that is it. So we are wondering if our pois are the only lazy avocados or not.

(Yes we frequently refer to them as avocados :lol:)

My red-bellied parrots and Senegal fly occasionally but they walk and run more than they fly. I do believe that they are partially ground feeders and maybe that is why.

They seem to spend most of their day exploring the tree tops by foot. I really love this guy's videos.

Luna has started to fly more regularly in the bird room, between his door perch and the playstand and the desk. But its usually if he wants to enjoy a treat in peace or if he knows where I hide treats from him ;)
