You know those green bags you can get at Walmart and places now, that are supposed to keep your vegetables fresh longer...do you use them? Do they really make a difference? Are they safe to be used for the birds' fruits and veggies? Thanks.

they are safe for the birds - I have used them a couple of times but did not find that they made that much difference

you mean the Debbie Mejers green bags? I always use them and to me they make a big difference, the food stays fresher longer and you can rinse out the bags after you use them and let them air dry and use them again, to me it's well worthe the cost :)

I think they make a big difference. You have to read the directions, veggies need to be dry etc. I like them alot. Especially notice the difference with broccoli

What about the strawberries/blueberries? Those seem to go bad so quick.
