Oh my gosh, I can't believe I ended up with the rare talking lovebird. He has made "kissy" sounds and wolf whistles for a long time, but recently he started saying "step up" too! It's so funny because he sounds like a robot or a scratchy recording, but it is quite clear and discernable. I am amazed

And since I haven't posted a pic of him in awhile...

Very cute pic! I have a female lovebird named Shawn who talks also. She makes the kiss sound perfectly, says "peek" (cause I play peek a boo with her), giggles and says "gree gree" very clearly. We call our Quaker "Gree Gree" even though her name is Greenlee.

He is so handsome!!! My Luna has "night night" a few times and managed to say "watch ya doing" a few times though most the time it is still a chirp. Lovies are just the best!
