I brought home a rescued budgie yesterday got him a bath and a fresh clean cage, issue I'm having is I put him in the same room as my other 2 budgies without thinking about quarantine. I am going to take him to a vet soon. The good news is one of my friends had found him and had home for 2 weeks without any signs of illness my only concern is there is a yellow ring around the outside of his eyelids and I'm concerned it might be scaly face mites. It's similar to this picture I found online
any advice on what to do would be great or is the damage already done.

I would start separating them from now, until at least 30 days. If they haven’t already picked up something, you can avoid spread that hasnt occurred yet. I would also bring ALL of your birds in to the avian vet. They can identify earlier signs of illness in your other birds that you may not pick up. Birds are VERY good at hiding signs of illness until they’re almost dead. If the new bird has face mites, some vets will treat all of the exposed birds.

They are all in their own separate cages, Separated by about 15' Should I take him into another room the only other room I'd have available is my bathroom

I'm a stickler for quarantine! When I rescued Sherman, WCP, recently. She LOOKED healthy, but birds are very good at hiding illness until it's too late.
I encourage you to visit your AV for a wellness exam asap. If nothing else, the new bird will meet a new friend and the vet will have the bird's vitals. My AV always allows my babies to choose a toy at wellness exams. It's a party for all!

@cathybill7 recently rescued a budgie and got lots of good advice.
For quarantine, a bathroom will be fine for your new budgie. Ask your vet about quarantine rules.
On a totally different note, my birthday is also Feb. 8th!

That's awesome, it was a good day to be born, he is in the bathroom now luckily my other 2 had no physical contact between them, I will still take them to get checked too though

Please know that I'm only quarantining after this visit because my WCP is a new rescue! Also, new bird quarantines have different rules than old bird quarantines. Ask your vet!

Very cute budgie you have there. Not too long ago we had a member bring home a new budgie and did not quarantine. She had one other budgie. It turned out this new budgie had beak and feather disease and they both ended up passing so you just cant be too careful.

He is very cute. Congrats. It's always good to quarantine a new bird for a minimum of 30-45 days. Quarantine doesn't mean just putting him in a separate room but also being extremely hygenic.....wearing a cover up when you feed him/play with him or changing clothes afterwards, washing hands thoroughly, etc.
