I was posting another Bailey video when this video popped up. I knew that they were having problems with Onni but didn't realize that it was this bad.

Sadly this is also a problem for many that own cockatoos. The cost of hormone treatment is beyond what most can afford. Add in there is no guarantee it will even work & if it does it may only last a few weeks or months, requiring more shots & expense.

I'm afraid I don't follow them. But I can relate to a small degree.

I have noticed with Echo he's been more hormonal than normal the past couple of years. But its not that bad. Since having to board him for a couple weeks just before Christmas he's been acting a little off. I've had to towel him 3 three times since then. Which is very unusual for him. Still he hasn't been too bad. But Cockatoos aren't for the faint of heart. It can be such a roller coaster ride with them or any parrot really.
