Does anyone have any tips on finding a bird safe dehumidifier? I live in a small apartment, so I don't need something that covers a ton of square footage. Thanks :)

What exactly do you mean by "bird safe"? Do you mean the cords can not be chewed, do you mean chemical-wise, etc?

Yeah... I'm confused too. Teflon is in practically everything but as long as it doesn't heat you're safe. I have a dehumidifier, I haven't had to use in years. Now that I've moved again I might. I never had a problem with around my birds... As far I know you don't have to worry about them being bird safe or not...

I'm concerned about any chemicals that they might be made with. I'll admit that I don't know much about them at all.
