Where do you order your custom cut, double bolted perches from? I need one for an Amazon parrot, so diameter between 1 - 2 inches. The cage measures 31 5/8 inches wide from the inside with 3/4 inch bar spacing. I also need it to have all stainless steel hardware, wingnuts and washers.
Any wood that's safe like manzanita, java, dragonwood, would be fine.
I'm beginning to wonder whether it might be easier to just have the old perch (which is still in great condition, but just an inch or so too long now) to be cut to fit the new cage. But I'm not sure if that is doable without splitting it when it'll need to be cut and then re-installing the hardware on the side.
