Very cute, but man that is a lot of babies, are they all yours, or are you hand-feeding them for someone? I have anywhere from 3-8 babies at once and I thought that was a lot!

Wow! There are so few breeders with blue throats. You are very lucky to be feeding some. Matt

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes they are all mine. I have alot more species hatching as well. Most are sold before weaning through private sales. I do have a few awesome bird / pet stores that I work with when I have overflow ( which is not very often most sell to quickly ) The more rare birds normally stay with me or go into other breeding programs.

117 ... and is all that feeding by yourself? I hope you have help feeding! Plus more birds on the way ... okay, so you are basically hand feeding non stop! I know I only use to raise about 30 to 35 Pionus and Amazon babies each year and when chicks were young, I'd no more get done feeding and clean up and it would hardly be a breather for me then it would be time to get ready to feed again!! LOL!

Just out of curiosity, how do you have the time to spend with them and socialize them? I'd imagine that would be really tough.

Are you going to answer Dianne's question? I think it was a fair one. :)

Yeah, like a full-time, around-the-clock job that literally leaves no time for anything else ever...

Yes, it was a fair question that is on many people's minds but not said. I am not trying to be rude. Just curious.

J. Thomas I was also wondering why you would breed so many when there are so many birds in need of rescuing or re-homing. Instead of breeding so many birds wouldn't it be better to rescue the birds in need of good homes and then maybe help to find them a good forever home. Maybe foster care??? Probably more money in breeding though huh?
