Color Mutation

A friend of ours is giving us this little guy next week because she can no longer care for him and I agreed to take him in. She told me he is about 4-5 months old. He doesn't have a name yet and I would also like to know what color mutation he is. I am told its a male but I can't really confirm that without getting him DNA tested. I've read about fallow color mutations and the red eyes but I thought I would ask the opinion of more experienced p'let owners here on AA. Let me know what you think.

he is definitely a male. you can tell because of the dark blue feathers on his rump and wings. and I think you are correct about him being a fallow if his eyes are red, but I'm no expert. congrats on your new baby! he is beautiful.

Definitely a Fallow. But since I'm not familiar with Parrotlet mutations, I searched. I'm guessing it's a BLUE FALLOW (MALE).
