Hello, I just found out that my cockatiel looks sick.
Well I don't know much, but I think what started it all is that I heard a hard sounding bang in the middle of the night and I assumed that was my cockatiel that made that noise.
Then the next morning her beak was covered in blood, which came from her nose. I cleaned it off, but her beak turned black and blue.
So then this happened.
There is no problem with her right eye.
Her left one is showing the swollen part around her eye and has a watery eye, which she can open but mostly keeps it shut and uses only her right eye. She eats and poops well, acts normally, and interacts with my other bird normally as well.
I'm planning to take her to an avian vet.
And I'm wondering what do you guys think of this and if I need to do anything before taking her to a vet.
Thanks for your time.
