Cockatiel family November 2022

Hello all,

It's been a moment since being active on this forum. A lot has happened if any of the old Timers are still around my original flock has since passed on, I work with birds as a profession now and I have a pair of cockatiels who are nesting.

If you want to follow the journey of egg incubation to weaned I'll be using this as a bit of a baby album.

Wednesday (mom)
Fester (dad)

Current clutch started October 23, 4 eggs total and all fertile. Babies will be pulled and hand reared at 4 weeks.


If my math is right for incubation egg 1 is due to hatch possibly as early as Friday. Lucky for them as the fecals are starting to stick to the eggs I'll blame mom for that.

Eggs definitely more cramped this weekend. There appears to be Pipping

2 eggs left, 1 potentially DIS and the other pipping

Going to give the last egg a few more days. Fairly sure its a DIS

They have white or yellow fluff ! and pipping means hatching ! 1 and 2 are white babies, so they will be white faced

Feathers are popping in on their bodies now. The youngest pictures was plucking the siblings so the wings are a bit delayed
