Cutest Bird Ever!!!
I was living in Gresham with a view of St Helens when it blew May 18th 1980. I was 20 when it went sleeping in and when I finally got up about 11am it was just a wall of clouds, dust, and smoke where the mountain used to be. A lot of ash ended up in our gutters and we still have some jars of it I scooped out of them, very fine ash/dust/sand. Everyone wore face masks for a while and clouds of dust everywhere and we barely got hit by it.
